Karen has worked for Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics since June 2018, having previously worked within the NHS since 1982, initially in her home City of Plymouth and then after moving to Wales, working at the University Hospital of Wales and then moving to work at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, in the Trauma and Orthopaedics Department.
Karen has worked within many specialities and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to CSO. During her working life has always treated everyone she comes into contact with, the way she would expect to be treated.
Karen is married with one child, living in Mountain Ash. Karen enjoys watching all sports and in her younger years was a qualified Netball Umpire, umpiring the Plymouth and District Netball league most evenings during the season. Now most weekends you will find her at the Viola Arena , cheering on the Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Team. In her spare time Karen also enjoys going to the theatre, cinema and travelling.
Working for Cardiff Sports Orthopaedics combines both her love of sport and doing a job that Karen enjoys.
